Why do you need donation?
(Vedacharya) Shri Ghaisas Guruji Vedpathshala strives to relive the idea of the ancient Gurukul education system. As described in our ancient texts, Gurukul is a sacred place where ‘Guru’ and ‘Shishya’ live in the same house, devote intense effort on learning and teaching of 4 Vedas and 6 Sciences and with ‘Guru Dakshina’ as the only consideration. Since our founder was determined to run this project only on financial aid from public, and we have to meet various operational expenses, we look forward to donations.
Don't you receive government aid?
Unlike the worldly academic institutions, Vedic education does not receive any grant in India. It is for this reason that this project has to be implemented with generous and active help from society.
What kind of donations do you accept?
We accept donations in the form of cash or Food grain.
Do I get tax exemption if I donate?
Yes, financial donors will get concession in the Income Tax Article 80G.
How is my donation used?
Your donation goes towards the following:
a. Vedic Anushthan: This type is used for the expenditure to be done for various Anushthanas offered on the Ved Bhavan anniversary.
b. Stable funds: Donations above Rs. 25,000 are deposited in the Ved Bhavan’s bank account as fixed deposit and its interest is used for the daily expenditure of Ved Bhavan.
c. Nitya-Daan (daily donation): Donations from Rs. 101 to Rs. 25,000 are used for Annadaan and maintenance of Goshala (Cow Ranch).
