Vision and Mission

Ved learning and teaching is our ancient tradition. It was a custom to stay after Upanayan or thread-ceremony, at Guru’s house for one Tapa means 12 years to complete education in Vedas. And hence Upanayan Vidhi or thread-ceremony was essential. Today there are only 4 Vedas available. Whichever Ved you may choose, it takes minimum 12 to 15 years period for its comprehensive accomplishment. With the intension of creating availability of this study the institution, Vedpathshala has been established where the students of age group 10 to 12 years are admitted and without any expectations they are given the Ved-education. Obviously, today only and only Ved-teaching is recognized as charity of knowledge.

The teacher takes all the responsibilities like the student’s stay with him, his fundamental needs (food, clothing and shelter). The student has to gain knowledge by merely following the rules at teacher’s house and serving him. The knowledge achieved by this way provides him Mantra power of the teacher. Hence the Anushthan offered by him certainly gives him fruit. As per our ethics, we should never slander the teacher, never be ungrateful to him, and always be grateful. Otherwise, automatically the Mantra power vanishes. Hence traditional comprehensive Ved-learning in Vedbhavan has become convention.
